Break Legs puts the user's privacy first. No contact information, such as e-mail address or phone number, is collected. Any résumé and other information provided during Auditions are deleted from the server afterwards.
There isn't even a need to create a new account, as "Sign in with Apple" and "Sign in with Google" are used for authentication.
That means that even if someone were to hack the system, there would be no usernames or passwords to steal. It would be a lot of work for no gain.
Break Legs gets the user's name from the first sign-in process. Providing a headshot and "About Me" information is voluntary and is only seen by others in the user's productions.
The only other information Break Legs collects are tokens provided by "Sign in with Apple", "Sign in with Google", and OneSignal, which provides the push notifications functionality.
No information is shared with advertisers or any other third parties. The information is only used for communicating with, and learning about, the others in your productions. And we won't track you, so you don't have to worry about us showing up in your Facebook feed.
